Today we just wanted to give you a quick market update on what's been going on in real estate in Northern Idaho. The market has been very active and busy, and so have we. We have been seeing lots of pending sales and closed sales in the past few months. Compared to this time last year, we are way ahead of where we were. If you've been thinking about selling your home, pay special attention to housing price numbers. Depending on your neighborhood, prices may have increased 11-17%.
If you're buying as well, it's a great time to purchase due to low interest rates. They are expected to rise soon, and won't be near as affordable in the future. Locking in a rate now could save you a ton of money down the road.
